Oil tank sealant question

anyone reseal their oil tanks with loctite 515 ? Use it at work on all kinds of gearboxes and tanks as well at axle covers and things at home just wondering if there was a reason not to use it ?

I used Permatex Right stuff. Perfect!

Blue rvt silicone worked the best for me. The tank doesn't seal very tight to the chain case in spots. You need something that will seal small gaps well.
