is anyone going to the old forge 2011 Arctic cat, Polaris, Ski Doo, Yamaha sneak peak? was supposed to be demo rides which i was looking forward to but after this warm weather i doubt there is snow to ride on. i'll be there sometime on saturday.

I just drove back down last night, we rode all weekend, Monday and Tuesday. Considering the warm weather We had a great long weekend. We tried to ride out to Tug Hill, but there were areas down by Booneville that really started to go bear. The best riding of the weekend was Saturday --- we rode up to Beaver River to the Norridgewock and were running in the steady 80's on the tracks. The trail system up around Old Forge was actually in surprisingly good shape, but if they get the rain that is forecast for the weekend I wouldn't count on doing much test riding. If the heavy rain holds off till Sunday you might get in a couple rides. I think that was my last weekend for this season though, I even put stabilizer into the tank when I put her away.

My Yamaha dealer ahs a 2011 for display, he said that he got it because Yamaha had cancelled the demo????? May as well bring helmets just in case.

people who live in old forge are reporting on dootalk that all 4 manufacturers demo trailers/sleds are already there in the parking area. I sure hope I dont drive 2.5 hrs on sat to just sit around..

just got back from looking at all the 2011 sleds. i didn't demo ride any b/c the lines were too long though i wish i could have rode the rush and a nytro. the new apex is nice, everything i would expect from yamaha i just wish they had the nytro there that i'm interested in. the new rush was very impressive, i really like the switchback assault 800. wish i took pics but i forgot my camera. wish i could have given ride reviews but i didn't want to stand in line all day.

I went last year. I rode a Venture GT, a Ski Doo Grand Touring and a Nytro RTX. I wanted to ride more, but the lines started getting long.
