One more thought....

IMO, Duraflex carbide tip is largest most durable carbide tip on any scratcher. Unless you run them down across railroad tracks or a dry river bed, they hold up really well. In 5 years I've only had to replace one tip.

I use quali-picees scratchers, they are the best out there. IMO

And I might add I do have the gap intake, I added the lower speedwerx vents, and the rear mo-flo vents for the side panels. No trouble with clutch heat, a non sledding Buddy , once we were in the barn having some cocktails thought they were speakers, I #*$&@ you not.

I like the gap air concept. Other members have & are working on redirecting airflow within the compartment to keep clutches cool, without adding vents.
But if you have to add vents.... speedwerx & Moflo seemingly got it covered.
Yes, "there must be a volume knob somewhere" lol....
