Yea, where the snow is! lol
Plan is North Bay, unless they don't have snow. Their lakes are still good as far as I can tell and just need some snow.
Imo where we were located had a big parking lot, close to the trails and close to food. (Does everyone one else agree that was at the ride last year?) We stayed at the travel lodge on Seymour* (spelling?)
I have been waiting to see where the snow is and when its there before contacting the hotel.
A lot of places are red until clubs can get out and survey the damage to water crossings. Trails will open back up soon.
I would like to firm plans up asap though...

Option 'B' might be to switch it to the free weekend in Quebec Feb 9 & 10 but I'm hoping for option 'A' which is more snow for North Bay.

There are a lot of options.
Mattawa/Pembroke/Barry's Bay is looking to be good right now. Lots of day trips we could do from there and many places for accommodations.
February is more reliable then early/mid January.

We are on course to meet the group on Sunday. We'll be 8 sleds for sure, possibly 9 or 10. 6 Yamis and 2 'others'

They started opening up.
I will probably make my reservations this week. Everyone is responsible for booking the rooms for their group. I am pretty sure they let you cancel if the snow melts but I'll make sure of that before reserving.
Anyone going up on the Friday night or just sat morning? Probably meet around 9am at the hotel?

I'll probably be there for Saturday morning, could we make it 10am so the long distance guys don't have to leave so early?
