ok so got clutch off. i would like you're opinions on what you think.
sorry if the pictures aren't great. to the left of the nail is small crack in the fixed sheave. there's about 6 -8 of these little cracks on that sheave. nothing on the sliding sheave. Everything in the clutch moves slides great. you can see the wear ,where the belt sits on the sheaves.
keep running it or be concerned???

i'd replace it if it was mine. my sons 700 deluxe has those on both sheaves and i'm replacing them. Some will say there casting marks but pretty hard to believe that when you never noticed them before and all of a sudden they appear. It's a ticking grenade if you happen to build up any heat. I've had one grenade before, it's not pretty and it could end up costing you a lot more if it does, like a secondary clutch, hood , belt cover , damaged crank or worst yet injury to the driver or anyone near it when it does let go.
