Yamaha SR Viper
one thing about yamaha secondary is you have to take or add washer to the 3 bolt on back of secondary clutch to make belt adjustments, WELL osp has better Idea, you can use this and make adjustments with out removing in the clutch and get p...erfect belt drop every time.. ON top of that you can just spin the collar in to loosen secondary to change your belt.. super slick part for you VIPER owners.. this will sell for 89.99 in our store. the first 25 I sell will sell for 55.00 plus shipping... look on our store.

Nice looking part, The heading of your post implies that your belt deflection adjuster also retains clutch float which the others currently on the market do not. Is this true?

I agree with you, slick looking part.
i also have the same question on clutch float.
Looking at his video it appears as if when the tool is initially installed there is enough free play to float the clutch side to side. You see them doing this in the video.
The thing im seeing is, in order to set the belt height in the secondary you need to turn the black knurled collar in untill that black collar pushes against the helix whick opens up the secondary. Then you lock it inplace using the aluminum split collar
I cant tell exactly but it appears that if the knurled black collar is tight against the helix then you no longer have a floating clutch.
It would be nice if OSP could clarify this.

Ordered last night after 10PM, it shipped today.

Great service Jim, thanks!

YES it floats as seen in video, when there is NO engagement you can use the NUT to adjust belt drop, as soon and clutch engages the secondary clutch is floating (after engagement there is no more force on the helix and clutch is floating as it did before.. I hope that helps you understand... there is no reason to have the clutch float while your at idle ...(you can test this your self by pushing the belt down in the secondary clutch and move the clutch in and out..
we do have this for the NYTRO and soon to have it for apex this belt adjuster is very cool and will allow you to make all adjustments with out secondary clutch removal.
