Any know what number to use when calculating gearing? Is th sidewinder. 91 now?

Thanks. I got 120.73mph for the 129/137. An 129mph for 22/40

If this sled can truly do 120 out of the box and zero turbo lag it will be a home run for Yamaha. I'm still on the fence about ordering the rtx le but I'm getting close!

Its funny keith woods from woody'd Yamaha shop, was one of the test drivers at the air strip that they made many runs down,at WO speeds, and he said the SW he was on,was slightly overreving at 9000 rpms so maybe this was the reason they saw 122 gps,and it looked very smooth and hard surface, maybe a tad of overev was what it needed once it ran out of gear,to achieve those speeds.

Ha Ha,well you still got what 9-10 days left, order now don't be left out in the cold with the old iron lol..

I looking forward to hearing reports from the Yamaha question and answer session this weekend. I watched snotrax tv sled of the year show this morning and they liked the 2017 Viper rtx but said the clutching was lacking compared to the Cat team clutches which were supposedly spot on as far as calibration. This suprises me because all I have been reading is that the Yamaha clutches should be better.

Dont forget the 17 Viper has the old Yamaha clutches. Sidewinder is almost all new clutches. Should work way better than stock Viper clutching which almost all of us changed.
