We all know how utterly useless the Yamaha parking brake system is on our sleds. Found these on Amazon and I bought one (now out of stock). I have found the distributor for it.

I've tried and it works fantastic. Can't forget it on since it's right in the middle of the handle. Only thing is that it doesn't stay on while riding but it might be possible to zip tie it.

Before this, I was using a reusable large zip tie, which was difficult to undo under pressure. I need a parking brake as I load on a tilt trailer and need to keep it from rolling backwards.

1" wide 2 sided Velcro strip about 8" long. Took all my parking brakes off. Loop around handlebar once then underneath and back over the brake lever to the handle bar. I roll it up right next to the grip on the handlebar when not in use.

Yeah, I tried that too until the velcro stopped sticking and let go when I didn't want it to. This is an easy and elegant solution. Just putting it out there as an alternative.
