It is a Philips head.. I looked it up, lol
https://www.instructables.com/id/When-a-Phillips-is-not-a-Phillips/ scroll down to #10. I came across this while watching a video we had purchased for rebuilding a KTM 2 stroke bottom end, and the guy said that no Japanese bike/sled manufacturer has ever used an actual Phillips screw head. I did some digging and turns out he was right. Which explains a lot of past issues and reasons for threads like these: https://ty4stroke.com/threads/japanese-philips-head-screws.55198/
Anyway, I came across this thread here and thought I would share since it seemed applicable. I'm still new here, still looking for a Phazer/Venture to buy, came across this thread cause one of the Phazers I was looking at had trouble going into Reverse and I think it was idle speed related, working with the owner.
