Phaser idle adjustment/ RPM range

It is a Philips head.. I looked it up, lol

https://www.instructables.com/id/When-a-Phillips-is-not-a-Phillips/ scroll down to #10. I came across this while watching a video we had purchased for rebuilding a KTM 2 stroke bottom end, and the guy said that no Japanese bike/sled manufacturer has ever used an actual Phillips screw head. I did some digging and turns out he was right. Which explains a lot of past issues and reasons for threads like these: https://ty4stroke.com/threads/japanese-philips-head-screws.55198/

Anyway, I came across this thread here and thought I would share since it seemed applicable. I'm still new here, still looking for a Phazer/Venture to buy, came across this thread cause one of the Phazers I was looking at had trouble going into Reverse and I think it was idle speed related, working with the owner.

Hmm weird, it is a philips on the idle adjustment for my sled, so unless I’m miss understanding this mechanic you talked who said there was no philips in a Japanese’s sled or bike.
This is where I relocated my idle, I started her up the other day and everything worked perfect, the idle in it’s new location works for me. No problems with the clearance once the belt cover is on either, we’ll see how it works when the snow flies.
One thing I can’t stress enough is the proper tools for the job, an extra long fine nose plier set and a long t handled Allan key set, for me, is a godsend when working on these tight spaces type sled. Cheers.
