I have an 08 phazer just purchased
It crank and stalls three or four times before starting the previous owner said he change the key switch and also claimed it starts fine if you jump the wires on key switch any insite on possible problem?

Key switch may be wired wrong. Others have reported this especially with aftermarket switches. Download the schematic from the FAQ (07 should be the same as 08) and check using wire colours.
