Lots of pictures taken. I will try to write up some disassembly instructions similar to what I did last year with the Apex/Attak to help people out.

Great pics man. Did you by any chance look to see if there is enough clearance for a 15" track? Did you notice anything different from the pre production models?

Sweet! How much trouble would it be to lower the gauge you think?

Thanks for posting. They all look great. On a side note, I'm not too thrilled about the tunnel being left open. I guess only time will tell if it make a snowy mess all over the back, seat and foot rests.

That is just some of the pictures I took. There were over 70 in total. Watch the Totallyamaha tech pages for a complete article on getting to certain things on your Phazer!!
go200mph, visually it looks like there is plenty of room for a 15" track, but I didn't actually measure it. I will measure it on Thursday if you want me to. There are a few small things different from the protos, but nothing major. The rear skid transfer stops changed slightly, upper rear idlers are a different material. Any changes were really very small details.
Powervalve-700, just a quick look at it and I believe by drilling & taping two new holes you could lower the gauge pod.
ecopter, they did close in the front half of the tunnel which was open on the proto-type sleds back in February. I imagine with the heat of the exhaust there won't be much of a problem with snow dust and snow build up.
Anyone care to guess on the weight of the machine? Yamaha's estimated dry weight is 485 lbs. I weighed it full of oil, antifreeze, and with the battery charged and installed.
