Looking at getting another Phazer owners ride together this season like Phaze 5 had last year.
We had a great time with 5 of us just out for a ride, shooting the BS trailside and enjoying the day. I'll head it up if there's interest.
WHEN: Febuary- any Saturday but the 18th (club function going on)
March- 1st weekend works too, we generally still have good snow
WHERE: Waterville, NY 13480 (Central NY)- 18 miles South of Utica, easy to get to from the NYS Thruway.
TIME: 9 ish in the village parking lot (middle of town, plenty of room for trailers & trail access).
MILES: 100+ or whatever the group decides, I ride 'em all the time....
There are 5 local club's trails we can use with terrain ranging from tight woods, long non functioning railbeds to wide open fields.
Local cheap motel right off the trail located maybe 10 miles from my place with parking if you'd like to come out Friday or stay over Sat night.
Sled catering watering hole with good atmosphere on the trail about 5 miles from there as well.
Any questions or interest- post 'em up, PM or shoot me an email

Of course we'll let "others" ride as well

Is is not far from home for me. For a Canadian to ride in the US I would just need a passprt, insurance, ownership, drivers license and trail pass?

Will this be every Saturday in Feb except for the one? If it is I could probably make it up for one...

** In NY where I am, you don't need a "trail pass' as most of the trails are private property, BUT the kicker is NY State's law is that ALL sleds who ride in the state be registered NY.
That consists of:
A: joining a club for $25 then you get a 1 year registration for $45
B: Just going thru the NYS DMV and paying $100 to register.
You could take your chances just for the day (been times I haven't seen a checkpoint in weeks) or we could hit one?? The fine for no reggy is like $150 + court costs...
TSU, that's totally understandable man. I think it's BS my self for a state that's really sinking down the toilet $$$ wise.
You'd be looking at $115 extra with 2 sleds
SCOTTODD, just gonna be 1 of the Saturdays- Whatever works for most folks will determine it I guess (I'm open)....

Thanks porkchop, that a lot of cost for one day of riding plus the 4 hr drive plus border crossing!
