Phazer HP

It looks like Yamaha was pretty accurate with their HP ratings on the Phazer - 81 HP & 42 lb-ft torque.

Do you know what rpm it produces peak torque at?

Are you sure it turns 11,700 rpm? Everthing Ive read says it tops out at 11,250 rpm.
In the '07 Am Snow Buyer's Guide they have a dyno chart for the Phazer and they claim it produces a peak torque of 62.2 ft-lbs @ 6100 rpm (at the clutch).
In fact, there is a whole tech article in that issue about the Genesis 80 FI that is a good read for anyone who is interested. After reading it, Im not at all worried about durability.

Like jp said, it makes over 80 hp from 10,500 to 11,700 with peak HP being at 11,100 and peak torque at 8800 rpm.

acording to dynotechjim and his results it tops out at 12200 rpm
