Phazer Tierod inner End Upgrade

Cannondale, any chance you could get me the thread pitch, diameter and length?

I have access to a few vendors that might be able to find a left hand thread joint.

CANNONDALE27 you come up with the best modes for the phazer! NICE JOB!!!! If I ever have something go wrong on my sled I know who to go to. THANKS for all the good info. It help's out so much!!!! ;)! ;)! ;)! ;)! ;)!

KEEP THEM COMING!

Thanks man its out of necessity.Everything I own is old and most people would have moved on to newer. Thanks to this site and others for my other toys and all the people on them they keep me going and I can afford the fun.Definitly is a team effort. Is really amazing the people that all have a part in my machine and the skills accessible and shared with others.

Do you work at Manitowoc Crane by any chance?
Not important, just wondering. I use to wire some of the cabs for them.-MCL Ind.

No.Lot of friends do though.Right now I am self employed.20 years machinist at Parker Haneffin and they decided that they didnt like my attitude and style of communication. In other words they didnt like what I had to say and couldnt face the truth. So I got fired.Been best year of my life so far though.Lot of family time and riding time!

I got about 700mi on them so far.Working great.I made too many changes to say for sure what geometry change did but it seems like it slowed the steering down a bit.To me thats good but it could be the Shaper carbides I added at same time.It sure is tough to just do one thing at a time which would be most useful for testing.I am sure you all understand though since it seems Nationwide our snow came and went so fast guy has to ride when you can and wrench when convenient if possible.

Its working great. Is noticeable when riding feels more precise.Part#'s are on first page of this post.

Did you also replace the tierod end right above that connects to the top of the pivot arm assy? Any clearance issues with that one? You also mentioned that the tierods from the YZ are sealed and greased - what is the method to add new grease to those?
thanks,

Yes all 3 ends.To grease those YFZ ends you would use a grease needle where the rubber boot meets the stud. Not needed though. They are sealed well and wouldnt need added grease for years even on a quad that run in much worse conditions.
