Hey guys, i just finished installing a 151" tunnel extension on my 40th apex.. turned out awesome!... wife is looking at her short track and wanting the same on her sled. (we are liking the 144" crossover sleds). So i can get a very good deal on a 144" track/rail extensions for the phazer but it seems nobody make tunnel extensions. Its not a big deal to me to build my own but i like a "pre fab" extension... its clean and measurements are very accurate.... so question is.... has anybody found a tunnel kit for this mod?

cheers
sherlock!

the MTX tunnel extension and bumper bolt/rivet right in place BUT its very long. I kinda wish it was 6" shorter on my MTX as I've gotten it hung up going over hard snowbanks. 128" clear the on a short track stock, 136" needs some tweaking of the snowflap mount OR add 3-4" a 144 would need around 8" of extra length. The factory extension on my MTX is 14"

I did some looking around and found that Muffin Works makes 144 extensions for pretty much ever sled except phazer. I have seen a 136 tunnel extension for the phazer but have yet to come across a 144.

I think you may be stuck making your own or could ask someone like Muffin Works to make one for you. Their web site says that do custom work.

Perfect !!! thanks Ruckus.... i think i may be doing this... just in a 144 version. I was worried about extending bumper the length i need without extra bracing, but that can be designed...

cheers guys!

When i talked to the OFT guys at haydays last year they said they had done the 144 for the phazer. Maybe call and ask?

Yep thats the stuff!!!!... a assume you fabbed it up!!?
You assume correctly, $26.00 for metal and bending and $120.00 for the bumper extention. (cut, install solid tapered down cold roll & weld+ $2.00 for paint) All in all under $150.00 for what everyone thinks is a factory deal.

Mine cost about $15 for everything. Its one of the easiest things to make. Re-using the rear grab bar saves a fortune but if you are going to a 144 then maybe ist better to pick up a used item on fleabay or something.
