Phazers are cold

I use real thin underarmor gloves most all days and at night or really cold days wear thicker ones.I think the thin gloves let the heat through to warm hands better.

I'm going to try that. You guys are probably on to something there. Gloves are probably too thick to absorb the heat. On my SkiDoo (<----sorry to swear on the site) i only had walmart special gloves and they were awesome. Going out today before the storm hits and going to give my MX gloves a shot!!

MX1500..... I have the update and the warmers work ok but only to about -10C or so. Afterthat I seem to have to slow down to 40-50mph to get them to kick back on.

My buddy had to go to the hospital for frostbite on the tops of his fingers from wearing motocross gloves, it was nasty. The concept i agree on, but you have to find that 'happy medium'.

have you guys thought that your gear isn't doing it's job? I have all Arctiva gear plus the layering system and I'm never cold. I rode this year 2 full days with the left hand warmer not working and my hand got cold at times but nothing real bad. It was like -10 F* plus wind chill I also found if you stand up and let the blood "run" down to our hands they don't get as cold. I swear by Arctiva and won't use anything else. It's high dollar but worth it. I will admit blocking the wind will help keeping you warm.

X2 On having good gear. I also use Arctiva gear and have been very pleased with how warm it has kept me this year. A couple of -15F windy night had me wishing for a windshield, but normal winter riding has been great.

Knee deflector, they work!
