Hi guys,
I just ordered my new trail tank. I'm looking for some help/ideas what some of you have done to help cover up the center console trim. One of my biggest disappointments with the trail tank is having to cut the tabs on the side panels and the look of the center console.
Any ideas would be appreciated - pics even better!
cheers

If you do some searching I know there are several pictures on here of different people trimming the center piece. Here is just one thread I found real quick

Wait now. I have to cut stuff when I go to install my tank that's currently in transit to me? I'm not happy about that. What has to be cut, and why?

The tabs on the side panels should be cut...I don't think you have to but they look out of place if don't..purely esthetics.

Ah. Aesthetics are the least of my worries.

There's no cutting required but a little trimming makes for a cleaner install. Here's what I'm running for fasteners instead of struggling with those thumb screws that come with the tank: http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=90341
