code 43 : fuel system voltage (monitor voltage)
power supply to fuel injectors / fuel pump not normal.
Is the battery correctly charged?

Which relays are these? The ones above the oil resevoir? Was on the sled all day yesterday in extremely cold temp with lost of fresh snow. SLed was outside last night in -18 and not covered. There was alot of ice and snow around the engine compartment, including the chain case and oil resevoir. When I went to start it this morning, turned over no problem with engine light flashing and code 43 coming up. Put the sled in the shed, with the heater on it for 20 minutes and away it went. What to do?

had that issue a month ago. Bought the new updated 2011 fuel injection relay for 9.99 at the dealer. Di-electric grease to make sure.
The relay is in the four relay rack on the left side of the nose. It is the third relay from the front.
Code resets itself one you get it fired up.

Same thing happened to me 2 days ago. I pulled out the relay (3rd from front) and warmed it in my hand then re-installed and she fired right up. I got a new one from Yamaha I believe they have upgraded them.

Me and my riding buddy who also rides a Nytro has been in the mountains for a week now, and both or sleds relays froze up a couple of times that week.. Same symptoms, fuel pump not running .. code 43 flashing.
Can anyone confirm that there is a updated relay available? And is it the same part number for the old/ new ones?
Thanks

The new relay is part number 8HG-81951-00-00. Not the same part number as the old relay. I replaced mine this year and since had my load relay freeze but not the fuel pump relay.

How are the updated relays working? Still icing up or is the problem solved?
My original relay from 08 froze up once last season, and has frozen two times already this season... I don't like it..

This is going to sound crazy but if it's real cold outside and you want to get going in a hurry just unload your bladder on it. Relay warms up and away you go!
I now have the updated relay and so far so good. Get's real cold here in Manitoba Canada.
