I have a feeling my stock one is on borrowed time with the power im running. Just looking for the best primary to go too. Polar Or Rage???
my vote polar
I talked to the full power performance guys at haydays & they toasted 2 polars on their turbo doo,s. One of em twisted in half running it on the jack stand.

well the rage is heavy duty but Ive heard a Kluster in performance

I like the rage for the support from STM.However,I have a brand new Polar 8.5 clutch that I would sell
I prefer the Rage, The rage 8 is tricky to tune, but is deadly once set up, I just got a rage 4 for my Z1 Turbo. STM all the way for me. I dont have any experience with the polar or micro belmonts. So I cant say good or bad.

I have both microbelmont 4 , rage 8 and have had hauck 4
the one that easiest to tune is the rage8 microbelmont being the 2nd..... hauck... I did not like it.

Justin told me the clutch that broke was a Micro, not a Polar. It was also a "quick change" style spider, which is a big no-no on a 3 cylinder 4-stroke. The pulse of the engine will twist the spline/hex on the quick change spider!

That's why I don't like the Hauck 4, seen that happen on my friends 400+ HP Apex. The hex shaft lost its shape and made the clutch very unpredictable, the shift was never the same, not even the engagement were the same from run to run..... :-(
I like the Rage 8 for it's tunability. Looking forward to help my friend settin up his R8 when the snow flies.
