warrior pics
I got a couple pictures of the CSS on a Warrior up on the Impact site. Go into the photo section and click on the ones you want to enlarge. These should give you an idea on the mounting location.

On an Apex with a factory low profile windshield I recomend the optional handle bar mount kit. I will get some updated apex pictures this coming week.

Safety
Thanks Dave for your interest in the CSS. The CSS is only 2"x 3" in size and weighs 5oz. with the mounting system. They are powered by any fused 12 volt wire such as accessory plug, ignition or headlight. The average install is only about 10-15 minutes. We are not doing any shows till mid winter. Thanks.

Chris, I just ordered mine as well. Thank you. Now us Yamaha guys need to convince you to ride a better sled. I will not tell the guys what you ride, but it is not blue. At least you wife got it right. Hopefully some day you will see the light. No pun intended.

Sled dog,The instructions are very clear/easy as to the install. They even have color component pictures. As far as the power hook up, use a test light or a volt meter to find a hot wire.(sled running) If you cowl/hood mount it, run your power wires to a head light or dashlight power. Its just two wires. The black with a white stripe is positive and the all black wire is neg. The CSS is protected if you get the wires reversed in power. If you handle mount it (only w/bar mount kit) run your power wire to the ignition power. If you have a New Apex you can tap into accessory plug power. You can buy a plug adapter to plug directly into the acc.port from any electronics store. I suggest leave the port open for other accessories like a G.P.S. The CSS has a quick disconnect so you can remove it if needed.(theft, covering)

Boston,You caught me.Just for the record I believe in all of yamaha's products especially there sled line. I bought a new yamaha every year till 04. My last yamaha was an 03 Rx1. Even when I left yamaha I new I would return after they worked out a couple issues.(susp/handling,weight,) In my opinion the New Apex line is Top shelf. Its the high performance mercedes on snow. I find yamaha to be amazing in industry foresight and technology and QUALITY.
