View attachment 108698 Glad to see the new trailer section.
I think a lot of us will enjoy it and learn a few things along the way.

06 GMC 2500 HD Diesel with a R&R 27' inline.
(22'+5' V) we fit 4 -144" sleds in all the time.
It's tight but they fit. Love the Tri-axle. Seems more stable in the cross winds. And you have 1 more pair of brakes.
Bad part is, they charge you a little extra when you pay the toll for the Mackinac Bridge. For the extra axle.
This trailer has served us well, we put 6-8,000 miles on it a year for about 6 seasons and only have had to do normal maintenance (tires & brakes)
I have had many trailers over the years. 2 place Clamshells, and few 4 place Deckovers. Really like this style the best, pulls easier, lower to load into, easier to see behind.

SWEET....TRIPLE AXIAL:Rockon::-o

I have the same 27' R&R triple axle trailer. It is a 2002. Bought the trailer cheap as it was needing repairs. Replaced all 3 axles, both fenders, all new ramp hinges, 4 tires, 1 wheel, removed all vinyl decals, polished & waxed, and put LED strips in place of the fluorescent tubes in the 6 interior lights. I also added LED flood lights over the ramp doors that are controlled with a wireless remote. From the truck I can turn the rear 2 on to use as backup lights, if needed.

I use it primarily for hauling my quads to Silver Lake Sand Dunes right now but we did use it on one U.P. trip last winter. Fit 4 sleds in it but can only fit 3 quads.

Well

might as well throw a poor guy's set up in here to give you something to laugh about, at least there ain't any payments.

There's no shame in that game...I was looking into a clam shell, but for what a new one costs I just went ahead and spent a little more and got my inline.

Heck I just got a used clam shell last year was using a old converted boat trailer for years saving for that used clam shell that is the big time for me. nice rig.

Will get a daylight pic sometime. Really like the Drive on and off feature of Triton and a bit extra interior width for the mountain skis. Tundra has 145000 mi brakes,tires,some egr thing early and recently a radiator.
