There are some other posts with similar info but those numbers did not work for me. Tonight I sat down and figured out the numbers for voltage that corresponds to the temp on my 2015 viper LTX. I only have 3 values so far. but it seems to work in the garage anyhow. I tried with more values in the table and it got less accurate.
I had it up to 160 and down to 80 and it is within a degree to what is shown on the dash instrument panel.
2.93 2.2 1.7
84 107 129

This is a drag sled that is using the POD 300 for data logging. I am trying to determine the affects of engine temp on performance, if there is any. I need the numbers to back up the what I am seeing.

May not be accurate for your setup but when we dynoed my turbo it made best power when it was 160 degrees on the dash. Did a few pulls at 140-150 degrees and power was down a bit. 160-170 held consistent at its peak and that's exactly where mine runs everyday riding.

I will have to bookmark this cause my sled is finally coming home after a 2 yr build with Ulmer. I have the same setup with many goodies to figure out. I know that temp is going to be the least of my worries but always good to know for the chart book.

I found that 160 number on the dyno also. 140 on dyno was too low. I want to jump up to 180 for a couple passes just to see.

We had one pull that ended at 178 engine temp and no noticeable loss of power there. Mine at even 200 engine temp on snow will pull exact same rpm as it will 160..not real scientific but haven't seen where heat has affected mine.

Well I am almost certain that at 380 hp out of this little engine there will be a sweet spot that will be noticeable it may be a 10 or more deg margin but too cold or too hot will rob it some.

Be a lot of variables to try and simulate the same run to run to see this but I do look forward to seeing results. My viper turbo runs 160 almost always and we all kno they don't take long to build heat on the line
