Whats the maxing height riser i can install with out changing cables??
how tall are you?
I hjave the powermadd er had it...and am 6'2" and never needed to go higher at all...
So, I had the 2" pivoting one, and then the stock MTX big block thing, and never had a need to go higher than that...just need to move some cables around and your fine, no need to extend them...
if your taller than me, then I think you can go about another 1-2" at the most, and your throttle cable will be the limiter, as you have a little more play, and can re-route teh brake line a little more and maybe get taht to about 3-4" more...

I have their pivot adapter and one of their 6in risers and all the cables fit fine. It was a significant rise, even though the riser is the same as stock, moving the bars forward and the addition of the pivot adapter really bring the bars up to a more natural (mx style) ride height. I also appreciate that the top of the riser isn't aimed at my groin now while standing. I would also do the steering post relocate in conjunction with this mod, the two together make it all feel right. BTW, I am only 6' and still feel the forward and higher relocate is a must.

I'm trying to figure this out... I'm 6 feet tall and I just want another 2-3 inches height on my 08 FX Nytro RTX... and moving the handle bars a little forward would probably be good too...so are you saying if I get a pivot adapter and a 6 inch riser I'll be where I wanna be? And what is the steering post relocation?

dunham, here is a link to a thread that covers the OFT relocator. Great addition to your Nytro. It really changes how the sled feels and highly recommended. Quite of few guys here have put this on. I was able to get mine installed a couple weeks ago and it is night and day different for the good with it on.

To be clear, my setup is on an MTX and I am only concerned with mountain (stand up) riding. That said, I don't mind it on the trail at all, I also have a taller seat than stock so this no doubt helps. I found that forward rotation that the pivot adapter allows made the most difference in getting the bars in the right position. If you are concerned with trail riding at all I would go with a shorter riser block, say 4-5 inches.

I would think that all you would want is the steering relocate. That mod alone raises the bar height. I'm 6'4"' and all I did was a Boondocker relocate and it fits me fine.
