Pray for Viperdave

Thoughts and prayers for Dave and his family. Hope he is on track for a speedy recovery. G.B.

This is scary scary stuff, been there but got away with a couple stents. We're pulling for you big guy! Prayers to heal fast and strong. Winter is coming quick and rides won't be the same if you're not there.

Thoughts and Prayers hope you and your family the best!

I saw a video of Dave in his hospital bed watching snowmobile videos :)

Thinking happy thoughts for ViperDave!

Thank you all!! Well, 1 week ago today I was a dead man. 4 of the arterial blockages I had were 95%. The 5th, was 100%. That one blocked all blood flow to half my body. Both my Drs. and every single nurse on my care floor told me there was absolutely no way I should have survived my heart attack. I am home resting and feeling so very blessed!! Ok, that's the PC version. I was a dumbass just like many of you are being dumbasses right now. I ignored EVERY single warning sign my body was telling me. Chronic neck pain? Don't just go out and get a new Carbon Fibre helmet like I did. Both my carotid arteries were blocked. Feet cold? Don't get new boots and socks like I did. Femoral blockage doesn't allow blood flow to your feet. As much of a quote PAIN unquote, it is to go to the Dr., get yourselves REALLY checked out this year and EVERY year.

Hi Dave, Great t0 hear from you!! ;)!
We have all been worried about you and are so Glad to hear you are on the mend . Hope your recovery is on schedule. Are you still in the Hospital or have you gotten to come home? Seems like when my Dad had his Heart Attack and by-pass surgery that they sent him home fairly soon, but that was over 25 years ago, so I don't totally recall.
What are they thinking as far as recovery time, any chance of riding before the winter is over? If you can't ride, we hope you can still make it to Munising for on of the TY rides and give us a chance to say Hello!

Take Care and God Bless
Agman

Glad you are on the mend. Yes we men are good at being dumbasses. I think maybe I should schedule that colonoscopy...

Great to hear your home. Get better and follow the Dr.'s orders. Keep us posted and just ask if you need anything.

I'm home . Came home Tuesday , but Dr. actually cleared me for Monday . Chest is a little sore, but most of my pain is in my right shoulder. That's the one that hit the ground right before my right collar bone snapped in two lol! Even if I can't ride, I'll be up for Giveaway/Super Bowl weekend, maybe one other.

So you had a heart attack and broke your collarbone at the same time? Geez!

Glad to hear everything went ok. Stick with the physical therapy and you'll be back in no time.

I am just happy my buddy is here and alive :)

X2, X3, X4, X5..X1,000,000......I don't care how many times, I had tears coming down when I heard the news you were going into surgery... But now I am so damn happy you are still with us Big Brother!!!!

Dave, you have always inspired me to be the best man I could ever be, through everything in life! Now you have inspired me to get checked out...no matter how much of a PITA it is. Thank you (Big Bear Hug)

P.S. Andrew is very happy too and hopes you get better soon! :)
