This is scary scary stuff, been there but got away with a couple stents. We're pulling for you big guy! Prayers to heal fast and strong. Winter is coming quick and rides won't be the same if you're not there.

My family's thoughts and prayers go out to Dave and his family. He is such a caring guy with a big heart that a heart attack has no chance against him!

Thank you all!! Well, 1 week ago today I was a dead man. 4 of the arterial blockages I had were 95%. The 5th, was 100%. That one blocked all blood flow to half my body. Both my Drs. and every single nurse on my care floor told me there was absolutely no way I should have survived my heart attack. I am home resting and feeling so very blessed!! Ok, that's the PC version. I was a dumbass just like many of you are being dumbasses right now. I ignored EVERY single warning sign my body was telling me. Chronic neck pain? Don't just go out and get a new Carbon Fibre helmet like I did. Both my carotid arteries were blocked. Feet cold? Don't get new boots and socks like I did. Femoral blockage doesn't allow blood flow to your feet. As much of a quote PAIN unquote, it is to go to the Dr., get yourselves REALLY checked out this year and EVERY year.

Hi Dave, Great t0 hear from you!!
We have all been worried about you and are so Glad to hear you are on the mend . Hope your recovery is on schedule. Are you still in the Hospital or have you gotten to come home? Seems like when my Dad had his Heart Attack and by-pass surgery that they sent him home fairly soon, but that was over 25 years ago, so I don't totally recall.
What are they thinking as far as recovery time, any chance of riding before the winter is over? If you can't ride, we hope you can still make it to Munising for on of the TY rides and give us a chance to say Hello!
Take Care and God Bless

I'm home . Came home Tuesday , but Dr. actually cleared me for Monday . Chest is a little sore, but most of my pain is in my right shoulder. That's the one that hit the ground right before my right collar bone snapped in two lol! Even if I can't ride, I'll be up for Giveaway/Super Bowl weekend, maybe one other.
