Primary Clutch Problem

09 Phazer MTX - noticed abnormal belt wear, then looked at clutch and saw this:


The protrusion is on the outside, and moves as I compress the sheaves. Any ideas? I'm completely ignorant regarding clutches...

Almost looks like the bushing is coming out.

Almost looks like the bushing is coming out.

Took it apart and found exactly that. The bushing was displaced about 1/4". Pressed it in (w/ Loctite this time), rebalanced, and put it back on.

Now the clutch was about 32g out of balance, but that's for another thread.
