Have anybody else have problems when ordering from jjpowersports? I made an order via ebay to them in the end of october. I did already the next day receive an tracking nr for the package. But still today when I check on USPS homepage the status is = "electronic shipping info received".

I have mailed him several times and when he answers he are just claiming that he has sent the package and it should have that number.

I have tried to contact USPS but it´s not so easy when I am not living i USA. I have used there homepage and mailed in a question but I have still not got any answer from them.

For overseas I like to use FedEX, DHL, UPS etc as they are much better at tracking international shipments with some accuracy. USPS doesnt know anything until the item arrives at your customs and goes from there. I hope it was insured! Good Luck!

It could be held up at the Swedish customs inspection. Anything shipped overseas can take a few weeks depending on how it was shipped. If you used regular shipping rather than airmail, it could take a month.

Yes but usually when I have used USPS ( several times during the past months) I could follow the package on the USA side before it left to Sweden. But now it´s not even updated with the message that they have received the package. Just the infomation that they should get a package.

All USPS package that I have got during the past months has taken from 5 days upto 10 days in total.

That's a message that usually means that a label was printed but not actually shipped yet. Usually takes just a day or two for that to change. You should give them a call for an update on the status of your order.

We ship many items to other countries via USPS.

Unfortunately, if the post office doesn't scan the item, it appears to disappear into a black hole.

Then you only get the "electronic shipping info received" message.
The item sits in customs until it is properly aged, then it shows up randomly at your door.

A week or so later the web site is updated.

Believe or not this is normal. (Unfortunately)

We make them scan all packages in at the post office for this very reason, at least you know that they DID receive it then.
We also strongly recommend using EMS through customs for the same reasons.

It is not uncommon for customs to take a month for Priority mail.
(Nuts, I know)
This is also random, some will fly through surprisingly fast & others shipped the same day stall for whatever reason.
It is like Customs KNOWS you want/need it fast! Weird...

At this point, I would suggest taking the vendor at their word & try to be patient.
Most likely it will show up all of a sudden.

(I know, not easy to be patient when you are waiting on something you Want/Need! lol)

I doubt that it would be a scam or anything like that. Otherwise they would lose their credit card privileges if they get too many charge reversals for non-production of ordered products.

Rock is right, I have ordered many thing the the US through USPS and about 20% of the thins I ordered said "electronic shipping info received" for weeks then I get it and the next message is "delivered" with nothing in between.

Also, One thing i have noticed is that if the shipment is sent as a "letter" instead of a packet, you wont get any updated tracking information once the item left US. Im pretty sure its the same for you in Sweden.

Thanks for all answers...just to wait then :)

Chris,

Are you talking about J&J Powersports in Faribault Minnesota?

If so they are a dealer of mine for Curve Industries and I have worked with them for a few years now. Great people and highly doubtful that it is any type of scam.

If you don't receive your product in the next week pm me all of the info you have and I will follow up with them and see if they can help out more.

If you are talking about a different dealer then I am not sure.

Hope it works out. You are doing a great job on that Phazer and documenting the build.
