I will dom some modifacations to my Phazer during the summer. The plans are
longer track 151"
moved skid
shock from Rtx, revalved
Clutch kit
Changing colour from white/grey to blue/black
and probably more as it goes on.
Like this it was when I bought it
Quickfix during the winter, changed colour and removed windshield
In the garage and ready to be modified, the seatcover is already removed
Some removed parts
The engine
The tunnel
The engine shall be cleaned but no other plans for it.
The frame ready to be cleaned and modified
Some screws and other parts are cleaned
After the parts are clened and dried I put them in labeled boxes
I have also made posters to have something to dream about during the hot summerdays
I apologies for my bad english but I hope you understands me. If not just ask and I will try to explain.
More pics will come as the project goes on.

Should I close both holes in the tunnel? I have planned to close the rear but how about the front?

Looking forward to seeing it all done up!
Defiantly the rear hole. The front one i don't know. Lots of guys have closed it and said no problem with the heat build up as long as you keep an eye on the heat shields. If you have Ice build up that is excessive close it and keep an eye on the heat if not keep it open imo.

I love working on my sleds. The best way to past summer. I like the way you put you nut/bolts in a bowl.

Thanks for all the comments.
More plans.
I will make own betterboards, also go for 8" wheels on the rearaxle with an offsetaxle. I think I will go for 2 or 3 wheels inbetween the rails.
I will also try to fix the darting skis.
I will also check out the OFT steering blocks

Some more pictures from the past days
Paper, pen to draw some new parts that will be made to the snowmobile
After the measurements are done I fabriquate templates in thick paper to see if it works as I have though. Better boards are being planned here.
Checking how the holes will be paced
When everything is done I draw everything into to the PC so I can send the files to my friend that will cut out the pieces with waterjet
The last parts has been removed from the frame and cleaned

Today I have done some cleaning of bearings. Both for the driveshaft and for the "clutchshaft". The bearing for the driveshaft was full of old dirty grease and the other was almost empty.
