And in the name of weight this is who will be riding, biggest weight savings we could do at a whopping 135 lbs lighter than me! LOL! The little helper.

Just did the very first Mountain Lite exhaust on a Vector from Excell Motorsports!

-Stock exhaust (plus all the nuts, bolts, side covers, etc) = 21 lbs
-Excell Motorsports (with all mounting hardware) = 5 lbs

16 lbs lighter total!

I also added last years version of TJ's seat. Total weight saved over stock on the seat was 13 lbs.

Hopefully a ride coming up at the end of the month. Have to do the Barkbuster front end yet (still waiting on it 2-3 more weeks I'm told) and the intake relocation as well.

It's 45-46 lbs lighter right now. Waiting on the Barkbuster front end (14 lbs is what they claim) and then the EZ Ryde rear suspension (27 lbs is what they claim) should put me real close to 80 lbs lighter than stock.

Nice job.

But i must tell you something. The snow will enter by the hole where the exhaust exit, and with the heat, snow will melt around, but will froze all over the casting where the old exhaust seat. Snow is really coming by under the tunnel. I wrapped the hole created by the seat opening and the with exhaust cover removed, and snow is still coming inside where the exhaust exit. I will put a small Gage aluminium sheet to cover the hole under the tunnel. Note, isnt an excell exhaust, but its the same problematic.

More pictures!

:jump:

Stock front end total weight: 31.5 lbs
Barkbuster front end total weight: 16 lbs
Fox float front shocks also saved 4.5 lbs so we shed a total of 19 lbs off the front end between adding the Barkbuster front end and also switching to Fox float shocks!

We also installed the EZ Ryde rear skid which saved (as advertised) 27 lbs!

Vector095.jpg

We also fabbed up a cold air intake kit that will allow the supercharger to suck through the stock filter yet as well as an additional filter behind the windshield!

what was the total on that sled?
rear skid 2500
front end 800
front shocks 700
supercharger 4500
seat 500

of coarse, you cant put a price on the first ride.

$9000 in mods, how did it turn out? I'm curious about the front end and rear suspension!
