My 2015 Viper Ltx se pushes through corners. This is frustrating to me. I have ridden ski-doo all my life and I switched to Yamaha and it does not steer for me. The machine pushes through corners. I have ridden 555 miles in various conditions with similar results. I weigh 225 and my machine is bone stock with no studs. I have tightened the limiter strap two holes, adjusted the front shock down to 60psi and up to 80psi. I have moved the transfer blocks between one and three. I have tightened the center shock as well.
On a positive note I love the 4 stroke sound, engine braking and rider forward concept compared to my 2006 Ski-Doo Renegade 600sdi X.
Any suggestions?

Thanks. I have heard this. My buddy has some C&A's with 9" carbides. I think I am going to try that option.

Don't increase (tighten) you center shock spring preload. Decrease (loosen) it. And, yes, get rid of the OEM carbides. My 2015 Viper Ltx se pushes through corners. This is frustrating to me. Have almost same set up and dont get any push. No studs in the track. 6" carbides inner and 4" on outer OEM skis.
Havent touched the suspension settings at all either.

Packed trail is ok but go in 3" of powder and it plows like a dump truck

C&A Razors with 6" Slim Jim Dooly's. 70 psi main 150 psi evol, full weight transfer, M on the torsion spring, limiter strap all the way out on my 2014 RTX. rides good, handles flat, light to mdium steering effort and very little push in almost all conditons,

Curves with 6 inch round bars, limiter strap all the out, a little preload in center shock, 70 main, 130 evol (Hygear Dual Pressure Kit) and torsion on soft. It pushed with stock skis and slim jim dooly's, now it is on rails with the Curves with leading edge.

I just got back from a 1000 mile trip in Watersmeet, MI. My Ltx se has this new set up: The limiter strap is tightened two holes, the front shock is pumped up to 80psi, the transfer blocks are set at three and the center shock is almost back to stock. I put 6" stud boy shaper's on both inside and outside of the tuners. I am not studded. She corners like it is on rails on groomed trails. In powder there is a little push but nothing like before. On ice the carbides are okay. All in all I am very happy. My stock carbides, like everyone says were junk after 500 miles. I hope this helps. My 2015 Viper Ltx se pushes through corners. How much of a difference did you notice when tightening the limiter strap by one hole. I don't have enough snow around my place to ride to test it out but I am going on a 5 day saddle bag trip this weekend. Last time I was Up North I had a bit of push in the corners but with it being so cold out I didn't get around to tightening the limiter strap. Now before my trip I have tightened the limiter strap by one hole but don't know if one hole will be enough or how big of a change is noticed by tightening by one hole.

My limiters are only tightened one hole and it helps a lot. That and letting out the front track shock in combination with good carbides and it will be a lot better.

Just ditched the stock wear bars. 1/2 gone in 170 miles. 6" shapers inside, 6" woodys round outside, 1/4" preload in center shock, limiters all the way out, torsions on soft. TOO much bite on hard pack (never thought I'd have too much). Added another 1/8" preload to center shock to lighten ski pressure a bit an will see how that works tomorrow. Me and Shagman are going to rip with Yamahaguys for the day.
After rear revolve next week I'm sure I'll have to start over, but for tomorrow I can turn!!!

I would add that getting up front & hugging the tank really enhances my Vipers ability to pivot in the turns and keep the skis planted. Once I kick the rear out slightly getting through the turn I sit back a little to hook up the rear (which can get really loose in loose snow) I have to actually work on getting more rear bite when I'm "hugging the tank". I can literally kick the rear out 180 on hard pack to slightly loose trails if I get on it (while in a forward position). The original carbides were completely shot at 270 miles and I had my setup working pretty good with 1 hole up on the strap, light preload on the front skid shock, torsion on 2, transfer block on 3, and 1/8" off the front shock pressure (R-TX-DX). As the stock wear bars rapidly disintegrated I lost most of the gain in handling. I now have dual 6" woody's and no snow. Supposed to snow tomorrow so hope to get to try the new bars. I'm going to stud the track next year. Non-studded works remarkably well, but still would like that extra bite on ice and hard pack.
Good luck with the setup, make sure to get rid of the stock bars, if you've used your sled at all they are likely shot.
Oh, I also set the ski stance at 43" from 42" to hopefully increase stability up front. Theoretically it should help. I'm dialing in for trails groomed to hard packed.

I tried everything to get those tuner skis to turn. On the hard pack they were ok, but as soon as the snow softened up or there was fresh snow they would just push right through the corners. I bought a pair of C&A TRX, very happy with them. no darting and i can turn in the corners now. Hated that i had to buy new skis for a new sled but I was not happy with the way its handling so i snapped.

I tried the C&A and the USI on my viper. The USI are a little wider and have more float on powder than the C&A. So 8" bars on the USI ski is my choice. Takes all the push out of the sled.
