Qs3-R Question

Ok this might be a stupid question but on the Qsr3, the rebound adjuster, is the "+" faster rebound? I'm guessing yes but not sure. Mine is too bouncy whereas my buddies Polaris Rush is so plush on the bumps.

there i think 21 or 22 clicks. Start near middle. 11 clicks from total bottom is where I started and went + or - from there. If you too bouncy go down 1 click at a time. You will find sweet spot and the handling will be great. I can ride through moguled up trails at will it seems like forever. These shocks are the real deal.

Well this sucks for me and my credit.
Hi Brian,

I believe that the model you are describing is a Yamaha OEM shock, and only available through them. The only aftermarket shock that we make for the Sidewinder is a FLOAT 3 EVOL R.

Thank you,

Yeah you really need to go thru yam or cat....the pricing is darn good too. So you want to get credit back somehow from Fox. Wont they help you out?

Doo X shocks have rebound clicker on bottom too, turning it clockwise(tighten) should SLOW down the rebound, stiffen ect....

Turning CC(loosen) should speed up rebound, make softer.....

I looked at mine the other day but did not take a pic....Is the + clockwise and - CC? I think so.....I will look at mine again.

No, I got them from a local joint they are thankfully taking them back and refunding. Now I need to decide on getting the factory Qs3-R's from Port Yam or go the Hygear road as in the other shock thread tweaked my ear. DAM got to stay off this site, cant stop buying stuff.

Down meaning counter clockwise?

Those are the ones I purchased and do not fit, they are good on length but the reservoir is angled left not centered, if you look close to the pic you can see it a and hits the intercooler tubes for the fronts. And the rear shocks do not have the adjuster knob.
Can you swap the shocks left to right for clearance or will they hit a arm then?
