Question about Weight Transfer Rods

Could you guys help me out on how these work/what they do.. Like I said in my earler post. I've made a 30 year jump in suspension tech with my new Vector. This is all new to me ;)!

They control the coupling in the skid.

A narrow gap on the control rod translates to a narrow range of movement on the rear shock before the front and rear shocks become mechanically coupled.

Wider gap means a wider range of movement on the rear.

When the suspension becomes coupled, weight transfers forward and the front shock comes into play, this gives the suspension an overall stiffer rate.
