The Impusle header is made from sched 40 321 which has a wall thickness of .140". It's not as heavy as you might think cause the tubes are shorter than a conventional front mount header. For me the weight wasn't even a factor cause I'm willing to give up a few lbs (at Most) for the durability. IMO no 16 guage wall of any design will stand up to a turbo application. For drag racing where its short bursts of heat maybe you can do it but in the mountains it ain't going to last period. Been there, done that, not going back, EVER.

yeah I forgot to type in that the piping is shd 40, and the flange thickness is 3/16". all 321 stainless.
