Hey everyone
I recently picked up a 01 warrior. It ran OK but the transmission was all tore out of it. I picked up a set of good used gears and new clutch disks and top end kit. I put the the gears in and put the case back together. Next top end and timing chain making sure every thing was right. then onto mag, stator, covers gears on other side and clutch basket and new clutch disks. once I got that far I decided to spin the engine over. It goes about a 1/4 turn then hits something very solid. both ways. Then the shaft that the clutch rides on does not move at all. I pulled the stator, mag, clutch, and gears all back off and still something is stopping the engine. any one have any ideas before I pull the engine apart and have to buy another top end kit? Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks

Is it hitting the valves?? Did you make sure the timing for the valves are in the correct spot.

check the marks on the counterbalancer as well. it needs to be times too.
