R-1 intake cam for the apex

Ok who has bought just the intake cam that the r-1 motorcycles run,this is what fundy runs in his kit,and hauck lists one as well,but he is pricy,has anyone found one for under a grand,and had any local mod shops do any porting on the heads,as this is where the big power is coming from,if you dont want it blown.

The Apex intake cam profile is already the same as the R1 cam profile.

Fundy kit is a new intake cam and porting.

Fundy is in Canada, right? How long does it take to get this done? Do you send them your head and cam for an exchange? Anyone in the States doing this for you, Allen?

i have some of dyno ray,s stuff and it work,s great i cant say enuf about how well this stuff work,s fundy power sport,s make,s power.

Talked to Ray at Fundy last week.They had an Apex on the dyno and they were not happy with the results of the new cams that they were testing. He told me that the new cams and porting should get them into the 190hp range.
