Race fuel killing Bosh O2 sensor?

so i ntk sensor is plag nplay for an innovatte gauge?

If the plug is the same....

The plug is different.

I got about 900 miles out of my first bosch sensor, and then it would only work for 2-3 miles after the sled had cooled down for a while. I kept getting a error code that stated that the sensor had been over heated.

So I'm not sure if it was all from overheating the sensor or a combination of leaded race fuel mixture.

I did add one of the these this off season to see if it will make a difference.

With a Bender rear mount, the sensor is only a few inches past the turbo.

This is good to know!! The 17014 Bosch has a 5 wire on 6 plug (1 dummy terminal) and the plug is oval shaped...like a hockey rink!!

looks like u can buy the ntk sensor but cut the plug off and use the bosch plug

This is from the Innovate LC-1 Manual:

Appendix A: LC-1 Cable Pinouts
A1. Sensor Interface Connector (Standard DIN-5 female)

Lambda Meter Signal Wire Colors
Bosch LSU4.2
1 Pump+ red
2 Sens+ black
3 Heater - white
4 Pump-/Sens- yellow
5 Heater + gray

Lambda Meter Signal Wire Colors
NTK L1H1
1 Pump+ white
2 Sens+ red
3 Heater - yellow
4 Pump-/Sens- black
5 Heater + orange

:) should work fine using the NTK :)

My experience is about the same, <1000 miles with leaded then unleaded race fuel before the sensor laid an egg. New one now has 400 miles + we'll see how it goes(100% unleaded now)

:rocks:

So what is the part number of a NTK and where can I buy one?

NGK # is 24302. It's a 5-wire!

I just sold one to Ernie (stone) last week, due to the exact same problem you guys are having. Race fuel this summer killed his sensor.
