Read some posts on the skinz and oem bumpers that look good , but wondering about the racewerx front?Does anyone have any pictures installed? Was it hard to install?Do you think it's worth the money? Just picked up a 2016 rtx le ,the front seems like it needs some protection.I know it's big bucks but whats a few more if it's worth it. Thanks for your input.

I think so myself

If you grab onto it and try to lift the sled, it really cuts into your hands.. it should have a tube on the top edge to grab.

The Yamaha sport bumper will give your excellent protection down low and around the hood line plus its great grab handle at less then 1/2 the cost . The Racewerx does look cool though

I can't say much as I bought mine for looks and haven't had to use it to pull the sled out when stuck. I think it looks great and has good protection. It is pricey, but after what we pay for the sled what is a few hundred more? I feel that it has great protection. What do you want it for? That should be a determining factor along with price. If you will spend $200, will you spend $250? If you'll spend $250, will you spend $300. Snowmobiling is a huge money pit like any hobby/addiction. What is worth your money? You can get cheaper bumpers that will do the same but what do you want on your sled? I just spent the money on what I wanted and didn't worry about opinions. The only way to test this is to hit a tree. LOL And if you hit it hard enough, it doesn't matter what bumper you have on your sled.

raceit369...the sled look awesome... i guess it comes down to how much do i want to spend .

I see in some or the pictures for the racewerx bumper there are a arm protectors to, like in the 15 yamaha parts book. Anyone have them or order them with the bumper ? Havnt seen anything online and my dealer has no idea . Still dunno if I'll spit out that much cash but the whole combo seemed sweet!

Here's mine installed
