Yes. Thanks. I'll do this if I have issues with contacting the wheels with the blocks and rod removed. I realize now yours is a 129 so I'll double check the dimensions for my 137.129" for massive giggle factor, my fave sled to date and @270 I can play with nose using right thumb even at 60mph.
-Increase rebound setting on rear shock(make faster)
-Lengthen straps to longest holes, and oval out the holes some.
-Move transfer rod 7mm(pics)
This does not seem to do same on the 137, but may need to experiment if YAM never gives me a 129 again.

The 129 transfers better than the 137. We have one of each, no studs, identical suspensions settings. Mine will lift the skis at will, the 137 just spins.
The 137 handles better though. My Dad's is stuck to the trails like a magnet to a piece of steel.
OK, this has me intrigued. I'm dreading the move to 137, which I will have to do eventually. So when you say it's stuck. Like no inside ski lift? Or very little of it? I just can't get my winder to handle like the old 1100's did.

I might do that for mine...just the opposite way. I'd like to throttle it a bit more in the corners. Just lose too much ski pressure right now. My limiter strap is fully sucked in and my front shock has zero preload or the least amount possible.

0 inside ski lift. My Dad's 137 handles like a slot car. My 129 isn't as flat

I have over 26 oookm whit this block, great fast tuning component. I modified it a little, position #6 is cut almost to the shaft, so no position #5 anymore.... I rarely use position #6 for fast trail riding.
I have also drill a hole through the block, up to the middle of the shaft to facilitate installation! The "spring ball" was always moving on the slot before bolt were tight enough. We need to put quality grease between the shaft and block to operate properly in extreme cold weather.

Hey I just lay on sled so scissors press against it and tighten up. My wife walked in the garage one day while I was laying on the sled reaching around to tighten the bolts and was very confused.I have over 26 oookm whit this block, great fast tuning component. 2013 apex xtx with woodys power up kit clutch work and mbrp pipe
So IYO mike the 137’s transfer just fine ? I’ve done so much reading on here about these sleds I’m almost nervous of my 2020 that I spring checked. I know that all you hear about online are the bad or broken sleds but I was thinking this racewerx block would be worth the cash for a god accessory. I will be studded b 4 the sled see’s any snow, 2/4 pattern with 1.630 triggers. If I am gonna be in the realm of my buddies 850 doo’s I need hole shot. Just so much on here negative about these machines I guess.I have the Racewerx I bought from KRM, but I bought it for a different reason. To attempt to keep the transfer down! All you need for transfer is power and traction.
I just don't understand those that say they have none. Maybe they are stockers without studs. ????

With a tune and traction the only issue I have is too much transfer. I much prefer the skis stay down to stay in control and the reason I went away from my turbo 1200 Doo, but with big power in the winder I can't keep the front end down again.
Like I said traction and power and you have all the transfer you need and then some. You can't use all the power on the trail unless your pointed where you want to go.

Yes coming off my ‘13 apex xtx. Don’t plan on flash just pipe, clutch work and possibly intake. Too many problems/maintenance to a jacked up pro crossWill this be your first Winder?

Piss on that pipe idea, stock Hurricane muffler flash at 240HP and life is good, also not loud & legal on all trail systems. Loud pipes close trails, besides that, a 240 stock muffler tune will lay waste to any pipe and cost less too. No issues with any of the 240 sleds, belts and clutches happy, parts last same as stock.

Loool. I know what you are talking about! When i tighten the bolts the shaft was spinning inside a little and the springball was of the slot inside the assembly . That's why i am holding the shaft whit a little pin or drillbit. Otherwise it was a pain in the #*$&@ to instal correctly...Hey I just lay on sled so scissors press against it and tighten up. My wife walked in the garage one day while I was laying on the sled reaching around to tighten the bolts and was very confused.

Others here will disagree, but I like the new clutching. The only thing that should be done as far as clutches is move the secondary inward like others have suggested, to the hurricane offset spec. IMO, no gains that are worth while with stock tune. The weights can even be made to work with lower tunes, like 240ish hp.Yes coming off my ‘13 apex xtx. I would HIGHLY recommend at least the 240ish tune. If you go CAI and muffler, you are going to need a flash anyway.
I'll explain the difference between stock and tuned on the trails because I've done both. With stock, I come out of a bush and then there is 1/3 mile ahead of hammer down until I have to release the smile-flipper. Ahead of me is any of my buds on an 800, 850, apex, whatever. Of course I can be up beside them before I have to brake but completing the pass might not be do-able. With tuned, I come out of the bush, point, and squeeze. My buds have ten lengths. After about 500 feet I'm beside and blowing by them with complete authority. Lots of time to safely brake for the next corner. Great fun.

My core ridding group consists of a well moded 1200, well set up 850 doo, a ‘16 zr 9000 (1100 turbo) that has some traction and needs dialled in but works well. We trail ride extremely hard and have an old air strip that the club grooms 6 passes wide. We like to play around with our sleds and mostly do your trail scenario but we have many stretches on our system that are big straight’ish and open with a bit of twisti in between we come off the corner see the straight is empty and do a side by side squeeze from 30mph or whatever the case may be and down the straight until you need to let out of the throttle. If I flash the winder it’s game over and it’s next level. Not just tuning the factory set up and maybe a few simple add on. I would not have the bragging rights being flashed vs my buddies that are I guess trail stock class. ?? Sled will be stockish first season at least and have some fun with my buddies. I’m actually interested to see how I make out vs my buddies 850 and 1100 turbo stock because my apex could hold its own on a throttle pull. From a dead stop dig vs the 850 is different. He’s gone like a rocket off a launch pad. We race 1000’ here, we feel that’s the trail sled race not 660’ and that just what we do and enjoy. It’s just a friendly thing amongst friends with lots of laughs and some banter no big competition Just enjoy this great sport. We actually just got a snow storm last night and still have 4 + feet of snow “out back” in our trail System and will be out on groomed stellar trails this weekend!! We are lucky to live in this part of the province. Every one goes to Bathurst to sled early and late, not knowing about our 200+ miles of snow in the high country here.Others here will disagree, but I like the new clutching.
