Others here will disagree, but I like the new clutching. The only thing that should be done as far as clutches is move the secondary inward like others have suggested, to the hurricane offset spec. IMO, no gains that are worth while with stock tune. The weights can even be made to work with lower tunes, like 240ish hp.
I would HIGHLY recommend at least the 240ish tune. If you go CAI and muffler, you are going to need a flash anyway.
I'll explain the difference between stock and tuned on the trails because I've done both. With stock, I come out of a bush and then there is 1/3 mile ahead of hammer down until I have to release the smile-flipper. Ahead of me is any of my buds on an 800, 850, apex, whatever. Of course I can be up beside them before I have to brake but completing the pass might not be do-able. With tuned, I come out of the bush, point, and squeeze. My buds have ten lengths. After about 500 feet I'm beside and blowing by them with complete authority. Lots of time to safely brake for the next corner. Great fun.
