haha, I think only MachZed Dan made his own kit!!
AS FOR THE MOUNTAIN GUYS????? WTF?? When would they ever use RAM AIR?????????????????GOING DOWNHILL????????????????????????????????
Use your heads guys...sorry maybe that's harsh...
OK, here it is..in a mountain sled application, I could see it having greater benefit due to the fact that there is no air at 5000 FEET!!! So by removing any intake RESTRICTIONS you will benefit...no different than guys running K&N type filters.......

Srxspec said:If you look around you'll see I have provided useful information on hundreds of things whether it had anything to do with our shop or not. You will also see I don't bash others products! If I can provide useful and truthful information to someone who has a question I will post and help them out and continue to do so as well.

Guys,
I am just returning to the sport after a few years of some down time. I am running a new 07 Apex RTX and think you guys are very knowledgeable on the Yamaha's. I have already put together a list of parts that Ulmer Racing will be receiving soon. I would also recommend not to pull this kind of a thread, as it is informative from a outsider looking in. I also agree that people need to support all designers on this board and the last thing we need is for all this stuff to be built overseas.
My cents out!

Welcome newbie, but I disagree with not sharing the info. How would you know to send your stuff to Ulmer if it weren't for the open discussions on this forum. The reason this site is so great is because there is so much good information on it!

If you read his post carefully, he is saying we should share information and not to pull the thread.
