Since the sled was new back in November and still to this day it will randomly die.
It will happen at least 2-3 times an outing.
It only seems to die when I am coasting at a low speed with little or no throttle input.
It will start right up again after and run fine till the next time.
Can't start to trace the problem as it is so interrmitent.
Any ideas where I should start looking?

The first place I'd look would be the throttle override.

I just wanted to give you something else to look at as a possible cause. I just got back from michigan with my xtx and had it just die for no reason. The speedo went crazy and er-1 came on. Light would cut out like right now and left me in new moon black night at 70 mph going into a corner!!! Anyway it was very cold and I thought I had water in the gas and froze making for the problems. It turned out that it was the speedo wires under the secondary clutch came out of the straps holding it on and were rubbing on the clutch. Wires were showing some bare wire and were shorting out causing the problem. Taped and sealed them up and problem solved. It sounds like a electrical problem and its a shot in the dark but hope this might help.

Did you check your codes in the dash? Mine was doing that, and I was having a 30 come up. It was for the oil pressure sensor. The bad sensor was giving a false reading, and wanting the engine to shutdown, so it wouldn't ruin it. Don't forget to have the dealer erase the codes after fixing the problem. Otherwise 30 will still show up when you have another problem. They will then see mutiple codes, and have to trouble shoot. Trust me, I had this happen. Good luck

Check your fuel pump relay for corrosion

The dealer told me once something like this happens, to check the code on the screen right afterward. You can then cross reference it to the book or site, and see what the true problem is. Why guess like the old days. Whn ethe sled tells you, or gets you close? That is why I mentioned clearing out the codes after. If you leave them in after you fix the problem, you won't know what your next problem is for sure.

Thanx guys,
I am in the process of greasing up all my relays and connectors, for $10 I think I may just swap out the fuel pump relay.
No codes where ever thrown when this happened.
