Anyone have degraded performance on these or had them break? I'm not quite sure how to get the foam off to take a peak at what is going on.

As I said in my review the rear hand warmers were/are pretty lame. When it was in for the initial service I said they worked but sucked and could they check them. They did and told me that what I have is all any of them do. If the performance degraded at all there would be no heat at all.

Yamaha made them to only work at specific times/conditions on all the 2 up sleds. rockmeister makes a kit to fix the problem and it works.

I noticed on mine that it just cuts power to them when the fan is on. That's the only thing I noticed. The ECU controls a relay for power to them. No funky PWM or anything like that. Mine didn't come with any but the wiring was all there. Just put on some RSI's and a switch and I got heat.

What would probably help a lot back there are some gauntlets or hand protectors for wind protection there.

I'm actually having problems with the foam not covering one of my rears and the heat tape delaminating from the bar a bit. Any suggestions on how to fix?
