I have seen many threads relating to overheating (Apex GT) and the installation of a rear heat exchanger to solve the problem. I am prepping my sled in advance of winter and have thought about this as a good option, but cant seem to find it on the Yamaha online parts look-up. The part number listed on prior threads does not get a hit either. Is the number superceded or maybe the part discontinued? I saw a thread where the part was $42???
I know they make one for the Attak, there are two different heat exchangers. One for 121 and other is for the 136 inch sleds. I believe one of the advertisers on here sells them, it could be oem or aftermarket. plowking

There are TWO OEM rear heat exchangers. They are NOT discontinued, they are NOT listed in the online parts catalog. Any rear heat exchanger parts shown for RX1 or Warrior also apply to Apex or Attak.

I did order mine from my local dealer also for the same amount. He did state however that the part was discontinued but still available from the warehouse. I dont know how true that statement was. My question about this to him was answered maybe a newer or updated part will be available to replace this one???jkenosh said:i just ordered one from lake county powessports for my apex, cost me 48.04 out the door, he ordered it from yamaha so when i get the part number ill let you know
