'07 FX with 2100 miles, I haven't ridden it yet & it's already giving me a headache
*Idlers- Got to the dealer tonight & ordered 1 needed upper & a new bearing for the other one....... $75
Rest of 'em are undecided for the moment but don't seem that bad, maybe just give 'em a pin greasing if possible and run with it for now? Weighing options still with cash flow.
* Sliders, (whooped of course)...... $50
* "W" arm and surrounding pieces have been re-welded at one time it was determined by dealer (sled is still under warranty till 2012) so an update kit is in the future. Who's paying for it right now is questionable but...... $366
* shocks re-valved/ recharged (rears) + a 200# spring added to the rear one, recharge fronts....... $200
-Then I still have to service + pay NYS tax on it + register. Man what a shock it's gonna be to the wallet in the next month if a plan doesn't come together soon.
I just wanted to get on the damn thing and ride,

dude where did u take ur sled to that u have a warranty and still have to pay for everything?????... u should only pay for the sliders and some bearings if it was due to neglect by the previous owner.. but ur w arm and rear suspension update should b covered if it has been broken b4.. just remember flys with honey bro..

Definitly.Welding the broken parts does not void the warrantee either.Mine were welded because I needed to ride and they still replaced all the parts even the shot rails.

Hopefully all I'll be paying for is the sliders/ bearings.
Neglect by PO is evident on the suspension parts. The dealer is working with me on it though so I gotta wait and see till like mid next week.
I look at it as it's still under warranty till '12 + proof that it has been broke already so there shouldn't even be a question on it.

You are lucky. I have about 2k in my phazer that I have never rode. I keep finding small isuues as I go through it. Granted I am upgrading a lot of parts and want the thing to be perfect. I just didnt look the machine over enough before I bought it. I figured it only had 1400 miles and just seemed rough around the edges.

When it's done, no worries. You'll have a good piece of mind, and be ready to ride.
