Save your money

Thanks Shaddow44,
I can't weight for some snow. We got about 6 inches of ice on the pond in front of the house but its a little rough getting from here to there.
I'll keep you posted.

I just received my updated kit and installed it today. I will say that the new impellar cover was made very well. I also like the new mesh like cover I think it will breath alot better. The hole for the installation of the oil breather line was a lot better than that little filter as well.Nice rigged plastic and sealed joints. Good job G-force. I didn't move my oil tank because I didn't see the need for it other than weight transfer. I relocated my air censor up by the head lights.
Kviper I am sorry if you thought I bashed G-Force befor but I do not feel that I should pay for something I should have got in the first plase. The first kit they sent me was thin plastic trash. Both the impellar cover and the plenum box cracked. The second was a little better but you could feel the air blow out of ever joint. How about my time for frigging around with this. Not to mention aggrevation. I want to ride not work on my sled.
Also I guess you didn't see that I never said where I bought my kit or who from. I never said anything bad about them at all.
Yes I did have a little problem with the things you pointed out. But If the directions had been a little more detailed I think I could have got it. You have to come on here and be nasty about it.
j-mac i am sorry if you thought i was being nasty as that was not my intention however telling people to not wast there money on a Yam-Charger is bashing there product. The updated air box and impeller cover you received last season would not have failed because it also was thicker and if it did fail i would bet they would have stood behind it. It is a fact the latest cover does not flow more air or make more power. As i said in an earlier post if it does there was something wrong with the housing or the install and this would have been the case with both housing's because you weren't seeing the proper performance from either one by the sounds of it. Are you seeing any RPM gain's with the new housing? By the way the outer wear filter now used is only because the guy's that were riding a lot of powder were ingesting some water.

If you were leaking air from the joints then you were loosing boost and power. In a kit that is only 2lbs of boost you don't want to loose any.. You may see some performance gains from the new stuff if you were leaking boost before...

One thing i did on mine which did not make any diff on the boost gauge is put a bead of silicone at the joint's. Danny at G-Force told me with the amount of CFM the blower moves a small leak would likely not be noticeable. Not sure but i thought i can't hurt.
