Rear suspension, what to do

I find my rear suspension too soft, what can i do without buying fox float or anything to make it more stiff, it just bottoms out even in pow.

X clicks are available they make the biggest improvement , or go get stronger rear springs . 2009 Plus phazer mtx's come with stronger springs stock , but 07 08 were super weak . my lowest setting is comparable to there highest setting of preload !

Really, maybe that's why I think my 09' is OK for my 190# body set to stiff. anyone know where the 09' specs are at, I only found the 08' specs and they show 1700nm for the mtx, 2100nm for the GT and 2500nm for the FX. maybe they went with the GT springs.

EDIT: after checking the Parts Sheet it looks like ALL the MTX's have the 1700 spring, same part number from 07-10. the 09'+ DID however get a slightly upgraded gas charged shock instead of a hydraulic, still a throw away though.

I put a set of Ohlin's on a SC Phazer, Wow, what a difference, it acts just like it should, it was an amazing change, I highly recommend it.

I put the 2500's on my 2007 and it made a big improvement.

Recently installed an aftermarket 4-way pre-tension block through the local sled shop. They ordered for me from WPS(Western Power Sports). It was less than $50. This finally eliminated the "bottoming-out" that I was experiencing. I think I need to replace my rear shock, though. I can get to bouncing pretty bad anymore like the shock is not functioning properly. This wasn't caused by the aftermarket block because it was starting to do this prior to the installation. The stock block is only a 3-way pre-tension configuration. Hope this helps.

Who sells stiffer springs? I weigh 150 lbs and the max setting bottoms out all the time.

Is this on a stock skid? Their site doesn't list anything for a phazer, so if you found one that fits, a part number would be great. What adjustments do they have?

I am bottoming occasionally, mostly on the trail though. I am a heavy guy but I like the stock spring rates for carving the powder, which is where i spend most of my time. I feel that better dampening (especially the rear/rear) would solve most issues.

There are ohlins for the phazer, they are not cheap, and I don't have the part numbers on hand. Also the are probibly valved to work with stiffer springs since we have the same suspension geometry as short track phazers so any shock that works on an FX, GT, or RTX will bolt right it. Fox has Zero Pros made for a phazer skid also. I plan on getting a Rear Zero Pro to go along with the Float I have in the center position.

if you are trying to find a par of shocks for the rear skidoo shocks do fit, i put a pair of x package shocks from a sc4 shortly in my mtx this year and you wouldnt imagin the differents, i was very happy to spend $400

um well some of the busings worked and some i had to file a lil but yes they went right in , to tell you the truth i herd form some one on here that shocks from a rev shorty fit so i created an account on doo talk and was on their clasifides till i found a cheap pair witch didnt take long, but idk the part #, but mine are from a 05 rev 800x shorty the skid was a sc4, so make sure bout that cause i found out the sc3 and sc5 had different lengths, the renagades and sumits are different and so are the bever tails, but just ask for the lengths if you want to make sure, i have them if you dont want to take yours out to measure. but the piggly back does just barrally fit, if i end up keeping the sled im might get them re valved a lil bit stiffer but it was a huge improvement
