Looking for Recommendations for Carbides:(for the MTN lite)
After a few trips on snowless roads to get to some spring riding
I need new carbides:

Yamaha sells the
GYTR GYT-8ENSP-00-00 $45.95
or
Roetin SMA-8EN10-10-00 $40.95

Any other recommendations, I'm looking to keep it
not rediculously expensive.

Thanks.

Recognizing that saving money is a good thing, I'll tell you this. Bergstrom Triplepoint carbides will outlast those Roetin carbides by a factor of 5 or 6. I have pair on my Venture that came off my Viper that I replaced last season. They had right at 9,000 miles on them. Yes, they were flat, but the carbide was all there. When you look at initial cost versus longevity, the Bergstroms are hands down a better value. Buy them direct from Scott, and he includes the SkiSaver AND shims to eliminate darting. He's the guy that figured out the shim trick. I have been using his stuff for about 15 yrs. and have had great luck following his recommendations. Good luck with whatever you decide ;)!
