Hey guys, I just picked up an mtx phazer with an mcx 12 psi, head shim, pump fuel set up. Single downward pointing exit on the muffler, mcx weights and engagement around 3900 rpm. It is very soft on the bottom and quite laggy. Can anyone advise me on any tricks to get out to spool faster? Thank you.

Raise the engagement using a stiffer spring. With higher initial force and about the same max force.

New muffler, them mcx mufflers are very restrictive. Set of plugs couldnt help either
Thanks guys, I will try those things for sure. A member told me he cut a hole in the back of the muffler, has anyone else tried this with positive results? Did you leave the bottom exit hole open also? Thanks!
