Don't do it, your sled will take 2 attempts to start it most of the time, if it aint broke don't fix it.

yep im not doing mine im still on the first update...never have an issue im not updating

I did it. Mine still starts first try. Is a lean spot at cruising but I am not stock. I did it because if my starter gear fails Yamaha wont have any excuses for fixing it right under warranty. Which includes oil pan and pump removal. But I dont blame anyone for not doing it. Been a nightmare of flashes.

Believe me I thought long and hard about it also. I do believe they put the fuel more on edge. Thats good many have noticed a little power increase. Rumor is the limiter was raised another 50rpm too. I dont know since my clutching never goes that high. Nothing scares me more than metal fragments in my engine with warranty about to run out this year and only 10000mi on it. I expect 10000 more before passing it on. The way snow has been that will be 3 more years. Figured risk of a little embarrassment with multiple start tries was not worth the chance and I guess I got lucky since mine is still a 1 try starter so far.got me thinking to much now

Cannondale I hope you gpsd your top speed runs, as the flash befor this latest one was reading 10 miles slower than others, you could have been doing 117 mph all along, lol
