I recently thoroughly cleaned and rejetted my Warrior with 150 mains due to I added 2 TPI valves, sled runs fantastic ,although after hammering the throttle I noticed what felt like it lost a cylinder for a bit then it would clear up and run mint again after bumping the throttle a few times. The sled ran great all day if only I due not use full throttle, under 3/4.Anyone have advice to what could be causing this ?.I believe it may be the float bowls emptying out and its starving for fuel or must I use the jumbo jets which are longer.Any advice would be appreciated.

What year is the Warrior? You might add that to your signature.
Is sounds to me like you might want to go back and finish cleaning the fuel system out. I'll bet you got some more sediment in the carb jets. I had to clean mine 3 times this year.
Also, I have not heard of anyone that has been successful with TPI valves and re-jetting. And, ... I see a lot of posts. I would think the sled would act like the Air-box was not correctly installed. Is it?
So, ... I would try this:
Clean the carbs again. If you find a smoking gun (i.e. plugged or dirty Pilot or other jet,) put things back together and try it. If you do not find a smoking gun, reinstall the 135s and close the TPIs. See if it runs O.K. Then you can decide from there what you want to do.

I've had 4 TPI valves with 160 main jets in my 04 Warrior for 5 years now, along with some clutch work, and I would open up the TPI's all the way when it was 10 degrees or colder in Quebec (No Ethanol) and I was able to run side by side with my Buddys Mach Z ( very impressive power gain)!
It wasn't until I started going to Maine (10% ethanol) that I started having problems (Manual states: Do Not Run More Than 5% Ethanol!)

Warrior rejetting ???
Thanks for the response and information. The sled is a 2005 Warrior. The work I performed on the carbs are as follows.Flushed and cleaned carb bodies and float bowls, installed new pilots and mains, added two inline fuel filters ,drain tank added new fuel, set air screws at 2 turns out each, added 2 TPI valves open halfway, air box is thoroughly sealed as I checked with carb cleaner as it runs. The symptoms I mentioned only happen if I nail the throttle for a bit it acts up as if it lost a few cylinders, then will clear up and run excellent after a minute or two of normal operation.I believe may be starving for fuel as if the float bowls may be not filling up fast enough to accommadate for the larger jetting.I was possibly going to try tpi jumbo jets as they are longer to sit lower in the float bowls. I am open to suggestions and will attempt another recleaning to see if it helps.

Have you checked the Fuel Level in the carbs? There is a procedure for this. Basically, you hook a tube up to the carb drain and see where the fuel level actually is.
Also, do you have the O-Rings in place on the main jet holder?

I noticed with my 4 TPI valves with 160 Main jets that they worked very good with regular gas (no ethanol), but when I started running (10% ethanol blend) that's when I started having problems

Would those be a possibilty issue I am not sure but heard a little about them what would the difference be and what part should be used ??

When you use ethanol or methanol laced fuels, the engine does not get enough real gas with BTUs to run properly. Unfortunately, you can't simply compensate for this by making the fuel mixture richer. If you try, you might see some improvement. But then the mileage starts to suffer and other engine problems start showing up. You have to get rid of the BTUless fuel.

I agree 100 percent upon the fuel issue.its garbage. What additives can be added to the fuel to compensate for the difference. Most of all stations now have at least 10 percent ethanol fuel,or what else can be done to make change ??

10% Ethanol will run fine. It is when you start jamming more air and fuel in the sled that you get the problems. The sled was not designed to handle this type of mod, w/o changing other things such as timing, air pressure, back pressures, etc.

excallibur 101 when you put 2 inline fuel filters inline did you remove the filters out of the gas tank?
i have a a/f guage on mine and this past weekend everything went to a lean reading on my 05 filters were restricked in tank. took them out & put a inline filter in and readings went back to normal.
you may want to look in the tank?

I found that I had to run with the TPI valves closed, and it ran decent like this!
So with the bigger main jets with the TPI valves closed it would run without any hiccups!
So it seems like (in my case) the bigger main jets helped compensate for the Ethanol CRAP!
